Experience Jaipur :
Jaipur is a part of the one of the most popular tourism routes of India – the golden
triangle that includes Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. The place is slowly getting for itself
all the modern trappings of a growing metropolis though the unmistakable stamp of
the old world charm can be felt everywhere in the city. Though Jaipur is known as
the pink city, it is in fact the older part of the city that is still dressed in
pink. When you see this pink city in the backdrop of the imposing medieval forts,
you are struck by the past of the place which is still closely interwoven with the
present of it. Jaipur is named after its founder Sawai Jai Singh II as it was his
decision to move the capital out of Amer to the plains. The reasons that forced
this decision were growing population and paucity of water in Amer. The city was
designed by a Bengali architect Vidyadhar who built the city as per ancient Hindu
texts.
